I'm 20 years old and all my life my parents have told they're not happy with me. I've tried everything to make them pleased but they have such high standards and no matter what i do it's always not good enough. Can anyone give me some tips or things to do that will make my parents stop thinking I'm a failure and make them proud of me for once. It would be much appreciated.

AOA Brothers and Sisters, I am a 15 year old Pakistani Muslim boy. My life has been really harsh for 4 years, mostly due to my family's abuse and other problems as well. I love them, but they think by abusing etc I can become better due to their upbringing. My grandparents also live with us, and they do the same. He's 22 in age, and I plan to run away as he's saying that he'll provide me shelter and food and other stuff as well. What does Islam say about this? Am I allowed to run away after telling it to my family? Is it legal? Thank you all for your help.

Assalam-u-Alayikum, As far as I know, Islam is very flexible in terms of marriage. So me and my lover want to get married and stay together in abroad. But we don't want to inform that to our parents because they want us to be established in our career first. Again, both me and my lover want to establish in our own career but at the same time we also want each other's company like a proper couple. On the other hand, live-together relationships are prohibited in islam. So, to have the best of the both worlds, me and my lover have been thinking that, we would get married in abroad and start to live the married life but we wouldn't inform that to our parents. Then after a period of time when we both will be established in our respective careers then we would marry again on the presence of our parents and the whole family. Now my question is: "Will islam permit such scenario to happen ? "

There are many many claims in the Qur'an regarding some things in science and in history that clearly can not be satisfied in such. For example the Qur'an claims Jews said and believed the Ezra is (was) the son of Allah. Yet no Jew, Rabbi in any of the four major sects of Judaism, any Toric or Talmudic recordings or ancient texts saying this. Assalamu alikum I have been told that if you are traveling to some outer city for less than 13 days you can join your prayers( dhuhr and asr, and maghrib and isha).
